Disgusting

When I stayed at Hotel Doisy the place was a disgrace.  There was no carpet or wallpaper in the hallways, bags of cement on every corner and more dust/dirt than the streets outside.

Once in the room I discovered there was no bathroom door, wires were hanging out of the TV and the double bed was actually two single beds pushed together.  I discovered this last point when I slowly sank between them in the night.

Upon returning I was greeted with the following email:

“We regret to informe you that your credit card was debited for the amount of 510.00 euros due to damages caused to the hôtel : Red wine spots on the curtains and the carpet.”

510 Euros for wine spots.  I can only hope that they invested the money in bathroom doors.

If I was to return to Paris I would rather sleep in a gutter than at Hotel Doisy again.
